Participants will move through a carefully designed journey of reflection, somatic awareness, breathwork, ritual release, nourishment, movement and integration.

Khepera Sankara
Khepera Sankara is a Trauma Release Facilitator and founder of Sankara Wholistic Wellness, a Richmond-based practice dedicated to restoring balance through deeply immersive, trauma-informed experiences.
With over a decade of experience as a Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Breathwork Guide, Sound Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, and Licensed Massage Therapist, she integrates evidence-based somatic practices with compassionate, heart-centered care.
Her work helps individuals regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and reconnect with a sense of inner safety, clarity, and calm.
She created Release, Reset, Reclaim because she believes healing isn’t just a mental decision....it’s a physical homecoming.

Do I need to share my personal story with the group?
No. Sharing is always optional.
You are welcome to participate fully without disclosing personal details. Healing does not require you to explain or relive your experiences. You are always invited to share only what feels safe and comfortable for you.
What if I become emotional during the workshop?
Emotions are a natural and welcome part of the healing process.
This workshop is intentionally designed as a supportive and trauma-informed space where emotions can arise safely. You will never be pressured to push through anything that feels overwhelming, and grounding techniques will be offered throughout the experience.
Is this workshop therapy?
This workshop is not psychotherapy or a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
It is an educational and experiential wellness workshop focused on nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and emotional release practices. Many participants find it to be a helpful complement to therapy.
Do I need prior experience with yoga, meditation, or breathwork?
Not at all.
All practices will be guided step-by-step and are suitable for beginners. The movements used in the workshop are slow, gentle, and accessible to most bodies.
What if I have physical limitations or injuries?
The practices used in this workshop are designed to be adaptable.
You are always encouraged to move at your own pace and modify or skip any activity that doesn’t feel right for your body. If you have specific injuries or concerns, feel free to contact me in advance.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring:
• Comfortable clothing you can move and relax in
• A water bottle
• A journal (optional but recommended)
• An open mind and willingness to explore
All other materials will be provided.
What happens during the fire release ceremony?
The fire ceremony is a symbolic ritual where participants write down something they are ready to release and place it into the fire.
This practice can be a powerful way to acknowledge and let go of patterns, emotions, or experiences that no longer serve you. Participation is always optional.
Will there be food provided?
Yes. A nourishing three-course plant-based meal, fresh juices, snacks, and refreshments will be provided as part of the experience.
Sharing a meal together is an intentional part of the workshop, allowing participants to relax, reconnect, and integrate the experience.
Is this workshop religious?
No.
While some elements of the workshop involve reflection, intention-setting, and symbolic ritual, the experience is not tied to any religious tradition. Participants from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.
How many people will be in the workshop?
This workshop is intentionally limited to 10 participants to create a safe, supportive, and intimate environment.
What if I register but later realize I can’t attend?
Because the group size is limited, registrations are generally non-refundable.
However, if you notify us in advance, your spot may be transferable to a future workshop if space allows.
