Welcome to Sankara Wholistic Wellness—experience healing touch and start your wellness journey today!

Our Approach

During a series of sessions utilizing various techniques such as Meditation, Journaling, Breathwork, Somatic Release, Yoga, Sound Therapy, Reiki and Massage, clients are equipped with the tools to release mental, emotional and physiological blockages surrounding their ability to give or receive physical touch or intimacy due to past traumatic experiences which are currently preventing them from fully embracing life as whole, free beings.
Clients are guided through activities which teach them to honor the truth of their thoughts and feelings surrounding a traumatic past experience in a safe way, learn to work through and overcome triggers, establish healthy boundaries, and help develop the security to allow themselves to be emotionally open with others again.
Clients relearn and are eventually reintroduced to safe physical touch, and are ultimately able to reclaim their power without losing their softness.
* These Self Healing Trauma Release sessions are meant to work in collaboration with traditional mental health services.

Our Mission
At Sankara Wholistic Wellness, we dedicate ourselves to creating safe, compassionate spaces where healing moves beyond words and becomes embodied. We offer trauma-informed somatic work, including mindful bodywork, sound therapy, and nervous-system regulation techniques, to help individuals release long-held emotional tension, reconnect with inner wisdom, and nurture lasting resilience.
We also partner with organizations — workplaces, community groups, and institutions — to support the well-being of their people through workshops and wellness initiatives grounded in trauma awareness. We believe that real wellness honors the whole human — mind, body, and spirit — and that healing begins when bodies feel safe enough to release, and minds are invited to rest.
Khepera Sankara
Your New Trauma-Informed Wholistic Wellness Practitioner

Khepera Sankara is a Trauma Release Facilitator and founder of Sankara Wholistic Wellness, a Richmond-based practice dedicated to helping individuals and organizations restore balance through trauma-informed wellness experiences.

With over a decade of experience as a Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, Sound Therapist, Breathwork instructor and Licensed Massage Therapist, Khepera bridges evidence-based somatic techniques with intuitive, heart-centered care. Her work helps clients and teams alike regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and reconnect with inner calm.

In a world where most people carry some form of unresolved stress or trauma, traditional wellness programs often overlook the deeper emotional layers driving burnout, disconnection, and fatigue. Khepera’s trauma-informed approach fills that gap—creating environments where the body feels safe enough to relax, the mind is invited to soften, and genuine healing can occur.

Through customized workshops, retreats, and on-site programs, she and her team has served several hundred professionals and private clients, offering practical tools and restorative experiences that nurture resilience, clarity, and peace. Her mission is to make trauma-informed care an accessible standard of wellness—because healing, whether personal or collective, begins when we honor the WHOLE self.
Stay tuned as we prepare to launch our services and support you on your journey to self-discovery and fulfillment.
